Days of Our Lives drama show ends in Barbados

Like sands through the hourglass, this too had to come to an end.

Days of Our Lives, the daytime drama which has been showing in Barbados for almost 50 years will no longer be telecast on the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, in Barbados.

The show first premiered as a half-hour drama in 1965, and later was expanded to an hour up until last week where it was discontinued.

The show which had become a staple for those who like drama would sparked many a discussion on a daily basis.

In certain corners of the internet is is described one of the longest-running scripted television programs in the world, airing nearly every weekday in the United States since November 8, 1965.

Haha had you there. The show has not been banned, but the Monday show was the last in the current series in Barbados. The programme will continue as soon as the shipment of the new series arrives.
