Jack Vidgen has won the fifth season of Seven's Australia's Got Talent. The 14-year-old from Sydney, was awarded the title and $250,000 in front of a roaring audience and the show's judges Dannii Minogue, Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden.
More than 2.0 million Australians tuned in to watch as Jack Vidgen was announced the winner of Australia's Got Talent. During the competition a $500,000 bounty for vigilantes to "inflict a slow and painful death" on the young singer was posted last week on a social network. In the middle of the competition Vidgen had composite veneers to correct his smile.
The Northen Beaches boy told The Sunday Telegraph: "I've been wanting to get my teeth fixed for ages and am really happy with them."
Sony announced they had signed the singer. His debut single 'Yes I am' is on sale and a debut album will be released on August 19.
