Rev Dr. Paul Lewis is now on bail

Update on Pastor Paul Lewis - 17 Jan 2010

In his most recent court appearance on December 18, 2009 was allowed bail. He had his travel documents returned to him then.

The defence had made an application for Dr. Lewis to be allowed to travel. The request was granted. He is on bail. He is to return to Jamaica by January 21 for the next preliminary sitting, set for January 22.

He was charged with one count of carnal abuse and two counts of indecent assault. The preliminary sittings will determine whether the prosecution has a strong enough case to go to trial, or whether the charges are baseless.

Please continue to pray for those involve in this case.

Subject: Prayer

Yes - I agree to pray. Let God be truth and every man a liar! I have known this Man of God for many years. He stayed in my home with two Teenage Daughters when we lived in Poughkeepsie, New York. He never looked at, touched or committed any illicit sexual acts or advances towards them. He preached in our Church and never made any advance towards any Young Women there. Revd. Paul Lewis - May the Lord continue to work on your behalf and use you to reach the lost at any cost. Please feel free to e/mail me and I will give you my Phone Number or you can give me yours. Love and blessing. Missionary V. Small
